This is a reference work containing details of topless and nude appearances of less well known British Actresses whose main acting career was in or around the 1970s era of filmmaking.  This list is intended as a catch-all for most of the actresses considered too minor to be included on the main British Actress list and from too long ago to any longer be considered for the "Sleeper" Scenes list.  Therefore the era covered on this section also encompasses actresses working in the 60s and the 80s but the section is named with the main focus of the Seventies firmly in mind.  

Some entrants are proper actresses who only had short careers and others are "dolly bird" types who did a spot of acting - some may have been the star or an important character in a film and others may have just been walk-on bit parts.   Whilst there is no distinction made here there is also no suggestion that they are all of the same ilk. 

Although British films are the main consideration some American or European films are included if a British actress featured - additionally some non-British actresses are included if they featured a lot in British films from the era or were not well known in any capacity other than a role in a Seventies-era British film.
